APPLICATION
The PDF700SXXX-CMFC(D) series of AC-DC converters delivers a solid 700 watts of output power across a range of single output voltages: 12, 24, 28, 48, and 56Vdc. With an efficiency reaching up to 91.5%, these units are designed to operate reliably in environments with case temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 95℃. For applications requiring extended power across the full temperature spectrum, an optional heat sink is available, with guidance provided by the power derating curve in the specifications.
Moreover, the PDF700S-CMFD-P series is engineered for parallel operation without the need for a shared bus, utilising the voltage droop method for effective power distribution. Standard control features include remote on/off and an adjustable output voltage of +5%, -5% (with the PDF700S560-CMFC(D) offering a tighter range of +1.8%, -5%).
Protection features are comprehensive, safeguarding against input under-voltage lock-out (UVLO), output over-current, output over-voltage, over-temperature, and continuous short circuit conditions, ensuring reliable and safe operation across a variety of applications.
