APPLICATION

The OFI700 is a robust and highly efficient AC-DC power supply designed for industrial applications requiring conductive cooling. It offers baseplate cooling, making it ideal for environments where active cooling is not feasible, such as sealed enclosures. With adjustable voltage and current settings, the OFI700 is optimised for rugged operations and demanding applications, making it a perfect solution for use in harsh environmental conditions.

The OFI700 operates with an input voltage range of 85-305VAC and a nominal input voltage of 100-277VAC. It functions at a frequency range of 47-63Hz. The typical input current is 6.7A at 110V and 3.0A at 230V, with a maximum inrush current of 30A at 230VAC. It maintains a power factor of 0.98 at 110V and 0.95 at 230V. The output power is 700W, available in 12V, 28V, and 48V models, with efficiency reaching up to 93% under typical conditions. The unit offers 0.5% load regulation and ripple and noise levels of 150mVp-p at full load.

The OFI700 includes comprehensive protection features. Overcurrent protection is implemented with an auto-recovery mechanism once the load returns to normal. Overvoltage protection ensures the system shuts down if the output exceeds safe voltage levels. Overtemperature protection prevents overheating by shutting the unit down when internal temperatures rise above safe operating limits. Short circuit protection is provided with automatic recovery, safeguarding the device in case of short circuits.

The OFI700 complies with multiple international safety and EMC standards. It is certified under UL 62368-1, CSA C22.2 No. 62368-1:19, EN62368-1, and EN55032 for both conducted and radiated emissions. The product is RoHS compliant according to Directive 2011/65/EU, ensuring restrictions on hazardous materials. It meets EMC compliance requirements under EN61000-3-2, Class A, and the EN61000-4 standards for immunity and harmonic current emissions.
