APPLICATION

The OFI1200A is a powerful baseplate cooling power supply designed for demanding applications, especially in non-ventilated, sealed enclosures. With a ruggedized construction, it is ideal for harsh environments, offering a wide range of adjustable voltage and current features, active current sharing, paralleling, and redundancy operations. The power supply also complies with MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock standards, making it suitable for industrial and other rugged applications.

The OFI1200A operates within an input voltage range of 85-305VAC (100-277VAC nominal) and has a power factor of 0.98 at 110VAC and 0.95 at 230VAC. It offers three output voltage models: 12V (up to 84A), 28V (up to 43A), and 48V (up to 25A), with efficiencies up to 92%. The unit supports remote sensing, remote ON/OFF, and active ORing for paralleling and redundancy (optional for 28V and 48V models). Protection features include overcurrent, overvoltage, and over-temperature protection, as well as short-circuit protection.

The OFI1200A is certified to UL62368-1 (3rd edition), CSA 22.2 No. 62368-1:19 (3rd edition), and IEC 62368-1:2018, with evaluations under EN62368-1:2020+A11:2020 and BS EN62368-1:2020+A11:2020. It carries the CE, UKCA, and cURus marks, and is compliant with the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU. The power supply also meets EMC standards such as EN61000-3-2 for harmonic attenuation and EN55032 for conducted and radiated noise.
