APPLICATION

The OFD1200A is a rugged AC-DC power supply designed for defence applications, offering robust performance in harsh environments. It is built to meet various military standards, making it a reliable off-the-shelf solution for demanding industrial and defence-related use cases. With baseplate cooling and conductive cooling features, it is ideal for sealed enclosures and non-ventilated environments. The unit offers high efficiency, ruggedized construction, and support for parallel and redundancy operations, making it suitable for critical applications.

The OFD1200A operates within an input voltage range of 85-305VAC and a nominal input voltage of 100-277VAC. It has a power factor of 0.98 at 110VAC and 0.95 at 230VAC, with an input current of 12.5A/5.8A at 110/230VAC for 28V, 48V, and 65V models. It offers comprehensive protection features including overcurrent, overvoltage, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection. The power supply supports a wide range of output voltage adjustments, from 0-14.4VDC for the 12V model up to 0-78VDC for the 65V model. Ripple and noise levels are controlled at 1-1.5%, depending on the output voltage.

The OFD1200A complies with multiple military and international safety and EMC standards. It meets MIL-STD-461 for electromagnetic compatibility and MIL-STD-810H for vibration and shock resistance. Additionally, it holds certifications under UL62368-1 3rd ed., CSA 22.2 No. 62368-1:19, EN62368-1, and RoHS compliance under Directive 2011/65/EU. It is also certified for CE, UKCA, and cURus marks, ensuring its suitability for use in various regulated environments.
