APPLICATION
The HBC Series is a line of rugged, highly efficient, liquid-cooled, bidirectional DC/DC power converters designed to support demanding environments such as industrial, agriculture, marine, mining, and other E-mobility applications. Available in multiple models, these converters transform high side DC input voltages ranging from 220-875V into a 12V or 24V isolated low side voltage, making them ideal for 12/24V battery configurations.
The HBC Series employs a digitally controlled Dual Active Bridge topology with synchronous output rectification to achieve superior efficiency and EMI performance. Housed in a compact, thermally optimized IP67-rated enclosure, they are built to withstand shock, vibration, and harsh environmental conditions.
Key features include bi-directional conversion capabilities:
-Buck-Mode: Converts high side input voltage (220-875V) into a 12V/24V low side output.
-Boost-Mode: Converts 12V/24V low side input into a high side output (220-875V).
The series is equipped with an SAE J1939 compliant CAN digital interface, standard hardware signals, and HVIL (High Voltage Interlock Loop) for seamless integration and reliable performance in various e-mobility and off-road applications.
