CHS500

The CHS500 series DC-DC converters from Cosel are high-power, high-efficiency bus converters, designed to deliver up to 504W of output power. These converters are available with a 12V output at 42A, making them ideal for demanding industrial and electronic applications that require reliable power conversion. With a wide input voltage range of 36V to 76V DC, the CHS500 series provides flexibility for various power systems.

The CHS500 series features remote ON/OFF functionality using negative logic (L: ON, H: OFF), along with remote sensing capabilities (excluding models with parallel operation). The converters offer adjustable output voltage via an external resistor, providing up to ±10% adjustment for fine-tuning your power output. The series is also compatible with parallel operation for scaling power needs.

Designed with high efficiency, reaching up to 95%, the CHS500 series ensures minimal energy loss, while advanced protection circuits, such as overcurrent and overvoltage protection with auto restart, enhance operational reliability. The converters also feature low ripple and noise, ensuring smooth and stable power output.

Built to operate in harsh environments, the CHS500 series supports a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and altitudes up to 5,000m, making it suitable for industrial applications. With multiple cooling options available—including convection, forced air, and conduction cooling—these converters can be easily integrated into various systems with thermal management needs.

The CHS500 series is certified to global safety standards, including UL60950-1, C-UL, and EN62368-1, and meets stringent EMI and EMS standards.
