RELEC’s standard TFT Displays are available in a wide range of sizes, from small 1.77” up to 31.5”. These cover all industry-standard resolutions, sizes, and interfaces. Additional benefits include:
Enhanced Visibility
Our standard TFT displays feature high brightness levels exceeding 1500 cd/m², ensuring excellent visibility even in bright ambient conditions. This is ideal for use in outdoor applications, where glare from the sun or other bright light sources can make it difficult to see.
Touch Panel Options
Our TFT monitors are available with either a resistive or PCAP (Projected Capacitive) touch panels.
- Resistive panels have been traditionally the most common type of touch panel. They function by sensing the pressure applied to the screen by a finger or stylus. They are simple and inexpensive to install. However, they are more prone to damage and not as precise, compared to other types of touch such as PCAP touch screen panels.
- Projected Capacitive or PCAP panels are more sophisticated. When a finger or stylus is placed on the screen, they can detect the change in capacitance. In comparison to resistive touch panels, PCAP touch screens are more precise and responsive. Historically using PCAP with gloves has been a limiting factor, but this has been resolved using sophisticated designs.
Application Versatility
Our TFT displays are adaptable and may be applied to various applications, including:
- Medical devices: typical application include the display of patient data, medical images, and other information.
- Automotive systems: ideal for use in automotive systems, they can be used to display navigation maps, music playlists, and other information.
- Industrial HMI panels typically used in industrial HMI panels, they can also be used to display machine status, production data, and other information.
- Digital signage: display advertising, information, and other content are easily integrated.
