APPLICATION
The ECB40W18 ECRT/EDRT Series is a high-efficiency 40W isolated DC-DC converter with an ultra-wide 16:1 input range of 10-160VDC. Designed for demanding industrial and railway applications, it offers up to 89% efficiency and operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 95℃. This enclosed chassis-mount converter is available in two configurations: ECRT for baseplate cooling and EDRT with a DIN rail mounting option.
With reinforced 3000Vac isolation and built-in protections such as over-temperature, over-current, over-voltage, and input reverse polarity, the ECB40W18 ensures reliable performance in harsh environments. It is compliant with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 safety standards and meets EN 55032, EN 50155, and EN 45545-2 requirements for railway and industrial use. The series supports multiple output voltages from 5V to 54V, featuring regulated outputs, low no-load power consumption, and a remote on/off function.
Ideal for railway, industrial automation, and power distribution applications, the ECB40W18 Series is designed to withstand shock, vibration, and high altitudes up to 5000m. With an optional protective coating and heatsink, it provides additional durability and thermal management for mission-critical operations.
