APPLICATION

The ECDA series is a powerful, rugged, baseplate-cooled AC-DC power supply designed for defence applications. Encased in an IP65-rated enclosure, it is engineered to operate reliably in harsh environmental conditions. Meeting MIL-STD-461 for EMC compliance and MIL-STD-810H for vibration and shock, the ECDA series offers a robust solution for applications that require high durability. Key features include conductive cooling, power good signals, remote on/off functionality, and a full range of protection circuits (OCP, OVP, OTP, SCP).

The ECDA series operates across a wide input voltage range of 85-305VAC (100-277VAC nominal) at 47-63Hz, as well as an optional 85-200VAC input at 400Hz. It offers a power factor of 0.98 at 115VAC and 0.95 at 230VAC. Inrush current is limited to 40A typical, and the hold-up time is greater than 20ms. Input protection includes inrush current limiting, input fuse, and leakage current below 1.5mA at 277VAC.

The power supplies feature remote on/off capabilities and protections against overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating, and short-circuit conditions.

The ECDA series is designed to meet multiple military and industrial standards, including MIL-STD-461 for EMC compliance and MIL-STD-810H for environmental durability. The product is IP65 rated, ensuring protection from dust and water ingress.
