APPLICATION

The AEA800F series from Cosel provides up to 816 watts of output power, designed specifically for medical equipment. It supports both convection and forced air cooling, with peak output currents reaching up to 72.5A, depending on input voltage and cooling configuration.

The input voltage range is from AC85 to 264V, operating at a frequency of 50/60Hz. It has an inrush current of 20-40A for AC100V input and 40/40A for AC230V input. Power factor is maintained at 0.98 at 100V and 0.95 at 230V input.

Output models include 24V at 25.5A (54.3A peak), 30V at 20.4A (43.5A peak), 36V at 17.0A (36.3A peak), and 48V at 12.7A (27.2A peak) under forced air cooling. Convection cooling allows slightly lower output current. Ripple noise and regulation vary slightly across models but stay within industry-standard limits, ensuring reliable performance.

The AEA800F also features overcurrent and overvoltage protection, with automatic recovery. It includes optional alarms for input and output voltage, along with auxiliary outputs of 12V1A and 5V1A for forced air cooling configurations.

The unit is safety certified under UL62368-1 and ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1, with compliance to EMC standards such as FCC Part15 Class B and CISPR32-B. It offers conduction, convection, or forced air cooling and weighs approximately 1.3kg, with dimensions of 50×127×203.2mm.
