CHS300

The CHS300 series DC-DC converters from Cosel are high-efficiency, high-power bus converters designed for industrial and electronic applications requiring up to 300W of output power. Available in a variety of output voltage configurations ranging from 5V to 48V, these converters can deliver current ratings from 5.3A to 40A, making them suitable for a wide range of demanding applications.

The CHS300 series supports two input voltage ranges: DC18-36V and DC36-76V, providing versatility for different power systems. These converters are designed with high efficiency, reaching up to 95.5%, ensuring minimal energy loss during operation. Each model is equipped with remote ON/OFF functionality (negative logic), remote sensing for accurate voltage regulation, and adjustable output voltage via an external resistor for increased flexibility.

Advanced protection features include overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection with auto restart, and thermal management through convection, forced air, or conduction cooling. The CHS300 series is also available with a baseplate option for enhanced thermal performance. Start-up times are quick, at just 50ms (typical at full load), ensuring fast and efficient power-up in critical systems.

The CHS300 series complies with global safety standards, including UL60950-1, C-UL, and EN62368-1, and offers robust EMI performance. Designed to operate in extreme environments, these converters handle temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C and altitudes up to 3,000m. Compact in size, the CHS300 converters can be easily integrated into space-constrained designs, making them an ideal choice for high-performance, high-reliability power systems.
