APPLICATION

The CHS80 series DC-DC converters are high-efficiency, compact power modules designed for demanding industrial and electronic applications. Delivering up to 90W of power, these converters are available in 3.3V, 5V, and 12V output models, offering current capacities of up to 25A, 16A, and 7.5A, respectively. With a wide input voltage range of 36V to 76V DC and an impressive efficiency of 92%, the CHS80 series ensures reliable power conversion for various applications.

These converters come with advanced protection features, including overcurrent protection and overvoltage protection with automatic restart. Remote ON/OFF control with negative logic and remote sensing functionality are also provided to ensure precise control and regulation of output voltages. The output voltage can be adjusted using an external resistor, offering flexibility for different power requirements.

The CHS80 series operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for challenging environments. It is designed to handle up to 3,000m altitude and comes with safety certifications including UL60950-1, C-UL (CSA60950-1), and EN62368-1. With a compact form factor of 33.0 x 10.5 x 22.76mm and a weight of only 21g, these converters are ideal for space-constrained applications. Cooling is achieved through convection or forced air, ensuring efficient thermal management during operation.
