APPLICATION
The CB series battery chargers are the result of years of development by ADEL System. They use an advanced multi-stage switching technology and a Battery Care philosophy to provide optimised battery charging that is completely automatic and meets the most demanding requirements of battery manufacturers.
The Battery Care concept is based on algorithms that implement rapid and automatic charging, battery charge optimization over time, flat battery recovery, and real-time diagnostics during installation and operation. The real-time Auto diagnostic system monitors battery faults such as short circuits, reverse polarity connections, and battery disconnections. These faults can be easily detected and corrected using the Blink Code of Diagnosis Led.
Each CB series charger is suited for all battery types. By means of jumpers, it is possible to set predefined curves for open lead acid, sealed lead acid, gel, and Ni-Cd batteries (optional). The chargers are programmed for two charging levels: boost and trickle. A rugged casing with bracket for DIN rail mounting provides IP20 protection.
